The most commonly used thread design for photoelectric laser reflective sensors in automation technology is the M18 style. A sturdy metal casing can reliably detect objects in harsh industrial environments. The characteristics of these devices are long-distance, long-term stability, and high switching frequency. The diffuse reflectance sensor ensures very accurate background suppression, thereby preventing accidental switching even in demanding applications.
