Granta ultrasonic sensors reliably detect whether a single sheet of paper is being fed in. The printing process stops when two sheets are being fed in or when there is no paper. Ultrasonic technology allows for detection regardless of the paper material (e.g., coated paper, transparent film, cardstock, or metal foil).
The following are the steps for adjusting the ultrasonic sensor detector.
1. Connect the power supply and turn on the instrument, allowing it to warm up.
2. Adjust the probe position, ensuring the probe is parallel to the measurement surface, and clamp the paper or film sample using the clamps.
3. Press the "Calibrate" button to calibrate, following the instructions on the instrument's display.
4. Adjust the detector sensitivity and time delay. Select different parameters for adjustment based on the specific test conditions. The sensitivity and event delay time can be adjusted appropriately.
5. Perform a two-sheet test. Adjust the instrument parameters based on the test results to obtain accurate measurement results.
