Learning Function
Learning Function
After the Ultrasonic Proximity Switch is powered on, the red light illuminates when there is no target. The learning function is effective within 5 minutes of powering on. You can set points A1 and A2 separately within 5 minutes, or you can set points A1 and A2 separately by powering on twice.
1. With points A1 and A2 within the sensor's effective detection range, place the target at the detection distance of point A1 or A2. When the sensor detects the target, the LED illuminates green.
Connect the learning cable to +UB. The green light will flash. After 3 seconds, disconnect it. Point A2 has been successfully set.
Connect the learning cable to -UB. The green light will flash. After 3 seconds, disconnect it. Point A1 has been successfully set.
2. With points A1 and A2 set to infinity, position the Ultrasonic Proximity Switch in a no-target state. If the sensor cannot detect the target, the LED illuminates red.
Connect the learning cable to +UB. The red light will flash. After 3 seconds, disconnect it. Point A2 has been successfully set. Connect the learning cable to the -UB. The red light will flash, then disconnect after 3 seconds. Point A1 has been successfully set.
After setting points A1 and A2, the sensor will remember the last setting and will restore it after a power cycle.
Synchronization Function: Up to five mixed-meter sensors with different detection distances can be connected directly to activate the synchronization function. For more than five sensors, different models, or asynchronous operation, a synchronization box is required.
