Garantta M18 infrared Through Beam Laser Sensor is a detection switch that uses infrared ranging to detect obstacles at a distance of 0-15m. It can be adjusted by adjusting the nut, and the module has strong anti-interference ability and sensitive detection response

Matters needing attention

 

Please do not install the through beam laser sensor in the following locations; otherwise, sensor misoperation may occur

(1) Places with high levels of dust, water vapor, or similar substances;

(2) There is strong light directly without shading measures the place of production;

(3) Places with high vibration and impact forces that have not taken shock absorption measures;

(4) Please use a dry cloth to wipe when wiping, and do not use organic solvents to remove dirt.

(5) When there is a direct state in an instant, it is necessary to use sensors.

 

Selection Guide

 

Confirm the detection object

1.For metal detection, inductive proximity switches are the preferred choice. (The sensing distance varies for different metals.)

2.If the object being detected is non-metallic, such as wood, plastic, or water, a capacitive proximity switch should be selected (the sensing distance varies depending on the material).

3.If the detection object is a magnet, a Hall switch or magnetic switch should be used

4.Detecting objects such as metal and non-metal; For long-distance detection, opt for a Through Beam Laser Sensor.
