Garantta GPL-0902 Mini Inductive Sensor can detect any moving or stationary metal objects without interference between sensors. The inductive proximity sensor has strong anti-interference ability and is not affected by metal chips attached to the sensing surface, making it ideal for various industrial applications. Inductive sensors are a non-contact sensing technology that is not only wear-free, but also has high switching frequency and switching accuracy. In addition, the inductive proximity switch is reliably resistant to vibration, dust, and moisture.

FAQ

 

1. The Mini Inductive Sensor cannot detect metal objects

  • Reason:

Insufficient detection distance: The object is not within the sensor's effective detection range.
Object material: The PNP NPN proximity sensor is less sensitive to some metal materials.
Power supply problem: The power supply voltage does not meet the requirements, or the wiring is wrong.

 

  • Solution:

Ensure the object is within the sensor's effective detection range.
Check whether the object material meets the sensor specifications.
Check whether the power supply voltage and wiring are correct.

 

2. Mini inductive sensor's output signal is unstable

  • Reason:

Environmental interference: Other electromagnetic devices nearby interfere with the operation of the proximity limit switches sensor.
Power supply fluctuation: The power supply voltage is unstable.
Installation problem: The sensor is not installed firmly and is affected by vibration.

 

  • Solution:

Keep away from electromagnetic interference sources and add shielding measures if necessary.
Use a regulated power supply.
Make sure the sensor is installed firmly.

 

3. Sensor response time is slow

  • Reason:

Sensitivity setting: Too low sensitivity leads to a delayed response.
Ambient temperature: Too high or too low ambient temperature affects sensor performance.
Aging: The inductive prox sensor has been used for too long, and the components have aged.

 

  • Solution:

Adjust the sensitivity setting.
Make sure the Mini Inductive Sensor works within the specified temperature range.
If aging is serious, consider replacing the sensor.
